At the heart of Valu-Trac's approach is an investment discipline which is based on the fundamental concept of Intrinsic Value. All assets have an Intrinsic Value which Valu-Trac calculates on an objective and globally consistent basis. The Intrinsic Value of income producing assets, such as Equities and Bonds, lies in the valuation of potentially distributable income streams. For non-income producing assets such as Gold, Commodities and Currencies, Intrinsic Value is calculated by reference to the World Monetary Base. Valu-Trac believes that changes in the World Monetary Base (i.e. monetary inflation/deflation) are the primary long term influence on asset prices.
