History of Valu-Trac

Valu-Trac was established in 1985 to provide investment research and counselling services to global institutions, who make use of its objective Intrinsic Value discipline for analysing and determining the status of bond and equity markets, individual stocks, currencies and commodities, as well as portfolio allocations to these assets.

Valu-Trac became authorised as an investment manager in 1989. Valu-Trac manages traditional (long only) and alternative (hedge funds) investments for institutional and private investors.

Valu-Trac was founded in 1985 by R. Peter W. Millar, who previously was the Senior Investment Manager of the Equity and Bond Departments at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (1977-1984). Located in the North of Scotland and with an office in London and representation in the USA, Valu-Trac has a total of 21 people.
